  1. Have your students write letters to Owney by using this template.
  2. Design an Owney stamp.
  3. Learn more about Owney at www.monakerby.com .
  4. Use Owney activities for art, language arts, geography, and math.
  5. Want to write to another teacher and her students in another place? Post a request here.

    Thank you for your posts. I will remember not to go to Six Flags in St. Louis during the winter.

    Think twice before wishing for a dog like Owney. He would not stay home and be your pet. Instead, he would always be catching a train. :)
